Julian represents not only journalism. He is at the front line as a symbol for GOODNESS. The evil wickedness is out of options to hide its true color. And as I said a long time ago. Your opnion on Julian Assange defines you. I am a parent of two children the age of Max and Gabriel and I probably feel more than many what you are going through with incidences such as the sudden "Line dropping"

Let me assure you that both children know more than you think and they are more accomodating than they show and best of all they are the children of the awesome Julian. They have some great genes.

Long live Julian. Long live The free

We will win

I hope you and Julian can feel the growing love and support from around the world as more people become aware of the truth about Julian’s prosecution. I’ve been banging on by myself on social media for years about this and now I’m surrounded by many others demanding his freedom. Some are people who used to argue with me about it but the scales have fallen from their eyes. There is a big shift happening, here in Australia at least. We are not going to give up whatever happens. Strength to you, Julian and the boys.

One thing I find difficult to comprehend is how those in power are able to almost completely silence coverage on Julian Assange. Substack is supposed to be independent of mainstream media, but even here there is very little and the little there is, such as this newsletter, draws only very few likes and comments (23 and 5 at the time of writing). On the other hand, writers with large readerships on Substack, while often doing a good job of being critical of the system, mostly echo mainstream media. I am wondering how those readers who actually care (as opposed to being just in it for entertainment and tribal allegiances) can organize themselves to have a greater impact ...

I have an idea that I think has potential:

1) I pledge my support to vote for the first US Presidential candidate who pledges to drop all charges against Julian - REGARDLESS of any of their other policies!

2) In particular, I pledge to support Donald Trump - but ONLY if he takes up this pledge.

I think Trump may be our best hope since many of his past supporters are as deeply disappointed as I am (though I did not vote for Trump, he did campaign on "I love wikileaks"). He even did an interview in which he tried to explain why - at the last moment - he decided not to pardon Julian, explaining it not in terms of a lack of support on his part but because unspecified "other people" did not support the idea of a pardon.

Especially, now, after the FBI raid and obvious treachery of the so-called "intelligence community" - aka gangsters - who lied repeatedly about Russian collusion - Trump supporters may be more sympathetic to Trump now but to re-elect this man without him having a sincere change of heart would be a great tragedy.
